Description

Squirrel and Mouse are going for a lovely walk, but Squirrel keeps spotting more and more things he wants .. a hat! … rollerskates! … a boingy stick! … a paddling pool with a cold drink and a boat to float …. the list goes on! It’s only when Mouse gets fed up and goes home that Squirrel realizes that none of his stuff matters without Mouse there to share it with him.

With character-driven illustrations by renowned author-illustrator Ged Adamson and a laugh out loud story, this picture book touches on two important topics – friendship and consumerism – in a light-hearted, fun way for eco-conscious families with young readers. It’s a hilarious story that children will want to keep picking up, as each time they’ll notice a new detail in the background hinting at the ending.
